KID GLOVE is a state-level awareness campaign implemented under the leadership of the Kerala Police Cyber Division, with the objective of ensuring a safe digital environment for children.

The primary goal of the project is to create awareness and build resilience against issues faced by children amid the rising use of the internet and social media, such as cyber threats, online exploitation, cyberbullying, fake news, and gaming addiction. As part of this project, activity-oriented and interactive awareness programs are being organized in schools across the state, led by trained volunteers. Additionally, special training is being provided to counselors from Social Policing initiatives like D-DAD, DCRC, Koottu, and Kudumbashree Mission's Snehitha project, actively involving them in children's cyber security awareness activities. The project aims to ensure comprehensive cyber security for children by bringing together students, teachers, parents, counselors, cyber experts, volunteers, and law enforcement agencies.

Students selected through various stages of activities and evaluations conducted as part of the Kid Glove project will participate in the Kid Glove Summit to be held in Kochi in 2026. This summit is organized as part of c0c0n 2026, the country's prominent cyber security conference. This platform will provide an opportunity for students from various schools across the state to learn and interact regarding cyber security, digital citizenship, and safe online behavior.

The ultimate goal of the KID GLOVE project is to empower children to safely utilize opportunities in the digital world and grow into responsible digital citizens.
